Form Factor
The Fold 8 opens into a 7.6-inch 4:3 display — the same aspect ratio as the iPhone Duo — built for split-screen multitasking, document editing, and video. Closed, it’s a thicker phone at 9.7mm. The Fold 8 uses Samsung’s Flex Titanium hinge structure and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 on the cover screen.
The Flip 8 folds in half via a horizontal hinge, bringing the closed size down to 85.7mm tall — genuinely pocket-sized.
